K-pop girl group Nine Muses have confirmed they will be disbanding.
In a statement from their agency Star Empire posted to Nine Muses’ fan cafe, it was confirmed that because of a variety of reasons including their contracts coming to an end, it was decided that the group will go their separate ways.
The group will release a digital single titled “REMEMBER” on February 14 as their final gift to fans. They also plan to hold a last fan meeting on February 24 before ending all official promotions.
Nine Muses debuted on August 12, 2010, with their first single album Let’s Have A Party. The group had an admissions and graduation concept, with a number of members leaving and joining during their promotions over the years.
Though no definite plans have been stated, it is expected members will officially move onto individual promotions from hereonin.
